The series of fires in Vordernberg does not seem to be abating and so we were alerted in the early hours of the morning to a waste container fire near the disused petrol station at Südbahnhof. This fire threatened to spread to the adjacent timber yard and the neighbouring waste containers. The fire was quickly extinguished using a high-pressure pipe. The situation was checked using a thermal imaging camera.
