There were three major fire incidents in 2010, namely a flat fire on 5 February at Hauptstraße 82, an outbuilding fire on the Handlalm on 16 August and a fire in the industrial park on 16 October.

There was much to celebrate at the Vordernberg Volunteer Fire Brigade on the National Day. The new fire truck with rescue equipment and four-wheel drive (LFB-A) was inaugurated as part of the celebrations to mark the 135th anniversary.
